Assistant Manager in the Bottle Shop at East End Cellars

• East End Cellars is seeking a full-time Retail Manager to join the management team. As the retail Manager, you will ensure that customer service is second to none and that the store is presented to the highest standard utilising the existing SOP. You must be responsible and proactive in your work practices and a true team player. This role is a key support for the Fine Wine Manager.

  Responsibilities:
  
  
  Maintain positive relationships with suppliers in an effective manner
  Drive sales and continuously improve efficiency in operation
  Strong product knowledge across Beer, Spirits & Wine
  Handling ordering, deliveries and stock management
  Have a friendly and approachable manner
  Lead & coach your team
  Must be able to work autonomously
  Ensure work health & safety of yourself and your team, identify hazards and implement control measures
  Confident in visual merchandising, creating stock displays and promotions
  
  
  Essentials:
  2+ years' experience in a leadership role in hospitality
  Wset Level 3 or equivalent ( preferred)
  RSA
  Bachelor degree 
  Full SA Driving License

  Intermediate computer skills
