Celebrity chefs unite for East End Cellars’ fourth annual Soup Kitchen
Block out your diaries, Thursday lunch is sorted for July and August. East End Cellars is hosting its fourth annual Winter Soup Kitchen, serving up some delicious chef-curated creations to raise money for Hutt Street Centre and Catherine House.
Held every Thursday from 14 July – 18 August 12:30pm until sold out, Adelaide’s most prominent chefs will come together to cook soup for a good cause, with business identities serving as waiters and kitchen hands.
Business identities who assist on the day will include Coopers Director Dr Tim Cooper, KPMG SA Chair Justin Jamieson, Sarah Constructions directors James and Tim Sarah, Commercial & General CEO Jamie McClurg and Social Policy’s Matt Clemow and more.
All proceeds go directly to Hutt St Centre and Catherine House, funding initiatives that assist those experiencing homelessness. All hands will be on deck, with Detmold Group donating takeaway bowls and cutlery, and Dough donating the bread to accompany the soups sold on the day.
What’s more, there will also be a silent auction of SA’s top wines and proceeds of Coopers beer sold at East End Cellars during each Soup Kitchen that will go towards the cause.
