Sometimes said to be the perfect expression of Barolo, Cannubi vineyards
combine the fossil soils from around the towns of La Morra and the sandstone
terroirs nearing Castiglione Falletto, Monforte d'Alba and Barolo.
Vinification sees gentle crushing of de-stemmed grapes, fermentation by
indigenous yeasts in oak casks and maceration for approximately 30 days.
The wine is full-bodied, with notes of balsamic and ripe red fruit, dried
rose and violet. Velvety tannins and a long finish.
