An eagerly anticipated release from one of the iconic vintages of the past
two decades from a cuvee that began in 1988. Elisabeth Salmon captures the
essence of great rose champagnes. A shimmery copper colour with flecks of salmon
pink, 2008 is the first time oak has been employed for
the winemaking and maturation.
This wine evokes rich raspberry,
strawberry and peach and undergrowth after a long, hot summer's day.
That ample nose is balanced by structure and finesse on the palate. A
fitting tribute to one of the founders of this legendary house.
