Crushed minerals, pressed wildflowers, lemon zest, smoke, and a sprinkling
of dried herbs frame the juicy citrus and orchard fruits in the ’19 “Il Bianco”
Bianco. Deriving from a vineyard that sits at about 10,000 feet above sea level,
Buscemi’s “Il Bianco” blends 70% Carricante with 30% Grecianico; grapes ferment
in stainless steel, and the wine ages in used tonneaux, protocol that helps to
retain the wine’s natural, mineral-laden terroir. Only 300 bottles produced.
