Dappled Tradition Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
Single Vineyard Cabernet with a touch of Cabernet Franc, this is a great vineyard. Planted in 1981 in the warmer sub region of Steels creek, the site and vine age result is a graceful yet sumptuous Cabernet blend.
Its inky red colour sets the stage for something special. Aromas of classic blackcurrant, cassis, tobacco leaf and cedar. The fruit is rich and lifted. The palate is dense but soft and playful, not at all tannic or over oaked. It’s a really beautiful, elegant, and classic Yarra cabernet.
