Dappled 'Champs De Cerises' Sv Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2022
From the red soils of the Maccelsfield sub region of the upper Yarra Valley, this years extremely low crops have produced an amazingly complex and structured wine.
This is unquestionably one of the best wines Dappled have made from this site. The wine pours out with a deep ruby colour, the aromatics are hunting with violet florals, fragrant red berries, cinnamon and clove.
The palate is dense and rich with raspberry and cranberry fruits, but the tannins are where this wine shines. They’re mouth coating and silky, and they almost interplay with the texture of the wine. Fantastic to cellar but just as good to drink now.
