Domaine de la Vougeraie Puligny Montrachet Champ Gain 1er Cru 2016
Plot
The Champ Gain cuvée is born from a small 32-acre vineyard in wild
and exalted nature. Leaning against the Mediterranean-influenced forest, at the
top of the hill, it is inspired by it. Umbrella pines, junipers, locust trees,
attract the deer which come to feast on its golden grapes. The name of this
locality would mean "the fields gained from the forest". Its altitude (between
340 and 360 meters) and its arid and red soil, clay and limestone make up a very
sunny microclimate, very well exposed to the east.
