Vineyard: The vines are cultivated on steep slopes with a southern exposure
(lieu-dit Fourvier) and on high slopes with eastern and south-eastern exposure
(localities Le Plomb and L'Arselie).
Vinification: Harvested in 50 kg crates, the different plots are vinified and
aged separately in order to best reflect the specificity of each terroir. Aging
in demi-muids for 18 to 20 months then mass assembly one month before bottling
after settling by gravity without filtration.
Tasting: Dark ruby colour. A complex aromatic palate combining aromas of red
and black fruits (raspberry, blackcurrant) with floral hints (violet in
particular), evolving into spicy notes.
