An impressive and sturdy wine crafted by Giuseppe Russo and his team from the
vertiginous slopes of Etna. The dry-grown vineyards are a mixture of bush vines
and espalier-trained Nerello Mascalese and a smattering of Nerello Cappucio.
Aged for 18 months in old 2,500 litre vats before release, this wine has a
rustic charm and the flavour intensity to power on for the foreseeable
