70% Pinot Noir, Chardonnay makes up the balance. A proportion of still
Pinot Noir from Ay adds colour and vinosity. The base wines are fermented in a
combination of old oak and terracotta vessels, hence the terracotta figure on
the label. Oxidative, rich and heady aromas of apricot, strawberry predominate.
A burnished style that is more complex and considered but still pretty,
think leather and lace.
