The Henschke family has been making wine since 1868. Fifth generation, Stephen and his wife Prue are well recognised for high quality wines, their innovation and sustainability practices in the vineyard, as well as their role as custodians of the land.
Lifted aromas of ripe blackberry, blackcurrant, cassis, blueberry, anise and violets with hints of black pepper and cedar. Rich and concentrated palate with a balanced acidity and excellent length, carried by fine-grained, ripe tannins. One of the all-time great vintages of this wine.
