John Duval is in every definition a master of his domain, and that domain
is the Barossa Valley. Before starting his own label in 2003, he was mentored by
Grange creator Max Schubert for 12 years before he became only the third
winemaker to be charged with producing Australia’s premier wine in 1986. John
Duval wines have a more elegant style than his past work at Penfolds to best
reflect the old vineyards with which he works. This philosophy is represented
perfectly in the Entity Shiraz. It’s pure class, effortless and features a
refined use of oak: blueberries, star anise and oak spice with kalamata olives.
The Entity continues to be the go-to Shiraz recommendation with our staff.
