Massolino Barolo Margheria 2016 5L

As with all three 2016 Crus by Massolino, the Margheria was fermented in large, conical oak fermenters with around 30 days on skins. It was then aged in botti for 30 months before bottling and then remained in bottle for a further year before release. It is a perfumed, pure yet complex, super intense Serralunga of the highest order. And you can drink it now, just give it a good decant. Of course, it will age for 10-plus years as well and be all the better for it.
