Patrick Piuze is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to producers in
Chablis, arriving just over a decade ago after being trained by the likes of
Leflaive, Jean-Marc Brocard and Jean-Marie Guffens. He treats his fruit with
utmost care and strives to make wines that are pure and expressive. He has eight
different village-level wines, each with different expressions of terroir.
This wine is made from 35 year-old vines grown in Kimmeridgian limestone and
clay soil, on the right bank of the Serein River with westerly exposition.
Floral, pretty, and mineral with great length.
