Poggio Anima is a venture from Riccardo Campinoti of Le Ragnaie in
Montalcino, with the mission to produce regional wines to convey the many grapes
and wine regions within Italy. This Italian red is made from Montepulciano
grapes grown in the Abruzzo region, on Italy's Adriatic coast. Smoky black
plums, a rope liquorice note, sour cherries and a firm tannic finish makes this
ideal for tomato-based pasta dishes and the perfect pizza wine.
