Owned by husband-and-wife team Hamish and Kate Laurie, Deviation Road combines generations of South Australian winemaking heritage with a passion for traditional-method sparkling wines.
With 25 years of experience as the sole winemaker across two boutique wineries, Kate Laurie has been hands-on in every aspect of winemaking, bringing her passion and expertise to some of the Adelaide Hills’ finest sparkling wines. Having studied winemaking in Champagne, Kate has dedicated herself to mastering the art of traditional-method sparkling, creating wines that express the character of their own regional surroundings.
