We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Sous Chef to join our passionate and hardworking team.
As a Sous Chef at East End Cellars, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen operations, contributing to the creation of innovative and delectable dishes. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, where you will be an integral part of our culinary team.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning, development, and execution.
- Oversee and manage kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Take a hands-on approach in the preparation and cooking of dishes, leading by example.
- Contribute to the development of new recipes and culinary techniques.
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen.
- Assist in the coordination of special events, including wine dinners, masterclasses, and outdoor culinary experiences.
- 2 year proven experience as a Sous Chef.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a premium restaurant/kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of culinary trends, techniques, and ingredients.
- Excellent leadership and strong communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Passion for delivering exceptional food experiences and a keen interest in wine.
