With more than 18,000 entries blind-tasted by nearly 250 world-leading experts in a rigorous, multi-stage judging process at DWWA 2024, consumers can be confident that Best in Show & Platinum awards winners demonstrate truly exceptional quality.



Best in Show: Best in Show represents the Top 50 wines of the show (0.27%)
To get to this level, wines must first go through two rounds of blind tasting and three separate approvals by a regional panel, a Co-Chair, and another panel during Platinum judging, before a fourth tasting and sign-off.

Platinum: Platinum Medal winners scored 97/100 points and represented just 0.67% of entered wines.
To attain the 97-point Platinum grade, wines must first attain a Gold medal, before being retasted and evaluated by expert judging panels.
