Join us for an intimate evening celebrating the depth, diversity, and artistry of Grower Champagne, hosted by Alexandre Rougeot, Founder and Director of Clos Cachet.
Wednesday 25th February | 6:30pm | $249pp
Born in Meursault to fifth-generation vignerons, Alexandre’s story is something of a Burgundian wine fairytale. Raised among the vines, he developed a deep respect for the natural processes of winemaking and a lifelong passion for the finished bottle. While firmly grounded in tradition, Alexandre went on to establish Clos Cachet — a personal project that both honours his family’s legacy and champions a modern, terroir-driven approach.
Throughout the evening, Alexandre will guide guests through a carefully curated selection of Grower Champagnes featuring all three noble champagne varieties and various terroirs from his portfolio, sharing insight into the growers, vineyards, and philosophies behind each wine. Guests will enjoy a seated, multi-course wine dinner, with each dish thoughtfully designed to complement the structure, texture, and precision of the Champagnes. Expect a progressive journey through Premier and Grand Cru sites, expressive vintages, and small-production bottlings — Champagne beyond the grandes maisons.
