Almaviva Epu Maipo Cabernet Blend 2020

This 2020 Chilean Cabernet blend comes from an exceptionally dry vintage, producing a wine of impressive concentration, depth and freshness. Cabernet Sauvignon leads the blend, supported by Carmenère, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, bringing additional complexity and structure.

Aromas of ripe blackcurrant, blackberry and wild strawberry are layered with violet, dark chocolate, vanilla and subtle mineral notes. The palate is rich and generous, with concentrated dark fruit, beautifully integrated tannins and fresh acidity providing balance and length.

Matured for 20 months in new French oak, this is a powerful yet refined red with excellent cellaring potential. A natural match for grilled ribeye, roast lamb or slow cooked beef.
