Alvaro Palacios Les Terasses Garnacha Carinyena En Coster 2020

Alvaro Palacios Les Terrasses is a classic old vine Priorat, combining Garnacha with 45% Samsó from steep, slate covered vineyards across the region.

The fruit comes from around 80 historical parcels, with bush vines aged between 60 and 90 years. Dark cherry, plum and rosehip sit alongside dried herbs, leather, spice and a subtle orange lift. The palate is velvety and concentrated, with the old vine Samsó bringing depth while Garnacha adds perfume and energy.

Aged for 12 months and bottled unfiltered, this is a long, mineral Priorat with a distinctive slate driven freshness. Ideal with lamb, slow cooked meats or smoky vegetables.
