Anim Chardonnay 2024

Anim's 2024 Clarence Chardonnay comes from the Clarence House vineyard in the foothills of Mount Rumney, Southern Tasmania, where ancient Jurassic dolerite soils provide the foundation for a refined, elegant expression of Chardonnay.

Fresh grapefruit, white peach and lemon blossom meet subtle notes of toasted almond, gentle spice and savoury oak. The palate is finely textured and focused, with vibrant acidity, delicate creaminess and a lingering citrus finish.

Wild fermented in French oak, with 30% new barrels, this is a Chardonnay that balances freshness with subtle richness and complexity. Produced in limited quantities, it's a lovely match for grilled scallops, roast chicken or buttery seafood dishes.
