Babche Grenache 2025

From the Landsborough Valley in the Pyrenees, this is a vibrant, medium bodied red with a distinctly wild and botanical character.

Red plum and rosehip lead the palate, joined by floral notes, dried herbs and a subtle amaro like bitterness that gives the wine plenty of personality. The fruit is destemmed and basket pressed before ageing for 10 months on lees in a mix of oak and stainless steel, with no added sulphur.

Gently plush but still fresh and lively, this is a characterful small batch release best served slightly chilled. Ideal with charcuterie, grilled vegetables or simple antipasti.
