Bera Barbera D'asti 2023

A serious and polished expression of Barbera d’Asti, showing the depth this classic Piedmont grape can achieve. Fruit is sourced from favourable southern and southeastern facing slopes, where calcareous clay and sandy soils help build concentration while retaining freshness.

Ripe plum, dark cherry and subtle earthy notes lead into a generous, dry palate with bright Barbera acidity and fine savoury detail. There is plenty of fruit weight here, but the wine remains energetic and well balanced through the finish.

A versatile Italian red with enough structure for roast meats, rich pasta dishes or a plate of aged cheeses.
