Bollinger La Grande Année 2015

Bollinger La Grande Année 2015 is a rich, vinous Champagne built around 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay from 11 crus, with Verzenay, Aÿ and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ providing the backbone. Fermented entirely in oak barrels and aged under natural cork for more than twice the minimum appellation requirement, it develops remarkable texture and depth. The nose moves from Mirabelle plum, stone fruit and honey into red berries, almond, vanilla and subtle oak. Full and generous on the palate, it finishes with chocolate, citrus and a fine mineral edge. A serious gastronomic Champagne, ideal with roast poultry, shellfish or mature cheese.
