Bruno Giacosa Nebbiolo D'alba Vigna Valmaggiore 2024

Bruno Giacosa’s Valmaggiore is a beautifully fine expression of Nebbiolo from one of the Roero’s most distinctive vineyard sites.

Wild strawberry, raspberry and dried rose lead the nose, joined by white pepper, violet and a subtle mineral note. The palate is medium bodied and finely shaped, with sandy tannins, bright acidity and a long, savoury finish.

Sourced from steep, predominantly sandy soils in Vezza d’Alba, the wine undergoes extended maceration before 14 months maturation in French oak. Elegant and transparent in style, it has the structure to age beautifully. Excellent with rabbit, roast poultry, mushrooms or mature cheese.
