Bruno Rocca Langhe Nebbiolo Fralu 2023

A bright and generous Piedmont Nebbiolo from Bruno Rocca, offering a more approachable look at a producer best known for Barbaresco.

Raspberry, black cherry and floral notes lead the way, with subtle spice and a savoury edge developing through the palate. The fruit is ripe and expressive, balanced by the firm, drying tannin that gives Nebbiolo its shape and length.

Fermented in stainless steel for around three weeks, then matured for six to eight months in French oak barrique, this is full bodied but composed, with enough freshness to keep everything in balance. A great match for braised beef, mushroom pasta or aged hard cheese.
