Burlotto Langhe Freisa 2024

Burlotto Langhe Freisa 2024 is a bold and expressive red from Piemonte, offering a more intense and savoury voice within the Langhe’s traditional varieties. Grown in a single south facing Roddi vineyard on calcareous marl soils, it reflects both depth of site and characterful winemaking.

The nose is dark and lifted, with black cherry, plum and wild berries, layered with floral spice and a subtle earthy, almost ferrous edge. There is a natural aromatic intensity that feels both rustic and refined.

On the palate, it is medium to full bodied with firm but well handled tannins, vibrant acidity and a deeply flavoured core. Fermentation in open vats and ageing in large oak barrels bring structure without masking fruit purity.
