A generous Montepulciano d’Abruzzo with plenty of dark fruit, spice and classic Abruzzese warmth.

Black cherry and wild berries lead the nose, followed by subtle peppery spice and a touch of oak. The palate is full bodied and smooth, with ripe fruit, rounded tannins and a long, savoury finish.

Made from 100% Montepulciano and matured in both Slavonian oak and French barrique, the style is rich but balanced, with enough freshness to keep it from feeling heavy. A natural match for slow cooked beef, ragù, grilled lamb or hard Italian cheeses.
