Craggy Range Le Sol Syrah 2023

Craggy Range Le Sol is a powerful yet finely detailed Syrah from the Gimblett Gravels in Hawke’s Bay.

Sourced from some of the stoniest sections of the vineyard, the wine shows dark plum, blackberry, violet and pepper, with a savoury mineral edge beneath the fruit. The palate is concentrated and polished, carrying impressive depth without becoming heavy.

The warm gravel soils and heritage Syrah clone give Le Sol its distinctive combination of ripeness, aromatic lift and fine tannin. A natural match for lamb, venison or slow cooked beef, with excellent potential to develop further in the cellar.
