Domaine Clarendon Grenache 2023

Clarendon Hills' 2023 Blewitt Springs Grenache captures the elegance of old vines grown in the deep sandy soils of this celebrated McLaren Vale subregion. A particularly cool growing season has delivered remarkable fragrance, freshness and concentration.

Wild raspberry, red cherry and delicate florals lead the way, with hints of dried herbs, gentle spice and earthy complexity. The palate is beautifully layered, with vibrant acidity, fine tannins and a long, savoury finish.

Wild fermented and matured for 18 months in seasoned French oak, this is a refined, medium bodied Grenache that balances generous fruit with impressive delicacy. Excellent alongside roast duck, grilled lamb or Mediterranean dishes.
