Domaine Thierry Laffay Petit Chablis 2023

This Petit Chablis offers impressive concentration and a beautifully defined, mineral driven palate. Aromas of pear, lime and green apple are lifted by oyster shell and stony mineral notes, leading into a generous palate of fleshy orchard fruit and citrus. Subtle hints of dried honey, wet stone and saline character add depth through the finish, while brisk acidity keeps the wine fresh and focused. Richer than many examples of Petit Chablis, it combines texture with a long, rounded finish reminiscent of river stones. A refined Chardonnay from Burgundy to enjoy over the next two to three years.
