Domaine Trenel Saint Veran Chardonnay 2023

Situated between southern Burgundy and northern Beaujolais, Saint-Véran is a white wine appellation established in 1971, nestled around the slopes of the famous Rock of Solutré. Trénel’s expression comes from select south- and west-facing vineyards in Saint-Vérand and Davayé, where clay-limestone soils lend depth and finesse. Pale gold in the glass, it reveals aromas of stone fruit and white flowers, leading to a rounded, balanced palate with a fresh, mineral finish. Best enjoyed at 8–12°C, it pairs well with creamy poultry dishes, seafood, or semi-firm cheeses like Cantal. Ideal for drinking within 4–6 years.
