Edouard Confuron Coteaux Bourguignons 2024

Edouard Confuron’s Coteaux Bourguignons is a vibrant, juicy take on Burgundy, bringing together Pinot Noir and Gamay from vineyards around Nuits Saint Georges and Vosne Romanée.

The 2024 blend is 66% Pinot Noir and 33% Gamay, showing ripe red cherry, raspberry and plum with subtle pepper, earth and floral notes. There is plenty of fruit, but the wine stays fresh and savoury, with Pinot Noir bringing shape and finesse while Gamay adds generosity and spice.

Confuron works on a tiny scale, drawing fruit from his family’s vineyards to create wines under his own label. Excellent slightly chilled alongside charcuterie, roast chicken or grilled pork.
