Eight At The Gate Cabernet Shiraz 2021

A classic Australian Cabernet Shiraz blend with depth, spice and a polished, generous feel. Cabernet Sauvignon makes up 61% of the blend, bringing dark berry fruit, olive and structure, while 39% Shiraz adds dark cherry, white pepper and floral spice.

The palate is rounded and savoury, with blackberry, chocolate and dried florals supported by smooth, well integrated tannins. Twenty four months in seasoned American and Hungarian oak adds subtle warmth and complexity without overwhelming the fruit.

Balanced, supple and lingering, this 2021 release is a natural match for roast lamb, beef or slow cooked dishes.
