Elderslie Hills Blend #2 Gamay 2022 is a single vineyard Gamay from the Adelaide Hills, made from 100 percent Gamay fruit sourced from the Maple Ridge Vineyard and crafted in a refined, Old World influenced Australian style.

Tasting notes open with red cherry, black cherry and wild berry fruit, layered with spice, earthy truffle notes and a subtle smoky, flinty reduction. The palate is light to medium bodied but tightly structured, showing crunchy red fruit, fine tannins and bright, energetic acidity with a savoury edge.

Style wise it is a cool climate Gamay that balances purity of fruit with savoury complexity, leaning into structure and detail rather than overt fruit sweetness.

Best with charcuterie, roast chicken or mushroom based dishes where its acidity, spice and savoury depth can come forward.
