Eperosa Magnolia Shiraz 2024

The 2024 Brett Grocke Magnolia Shiraz is a distinctive expression of Barossa Valley Shiraz, sourced from organically farmed vines planted predominantly in 1986 in Vine Vale. Far removed from the region’s traditionally powerful style, it offers remarkable aromatic complexity, with blackberry, liquorice and violet layered alongside tobacco, wild herbs and earthy, gamey notes. Fermented with 96% whole bunches, basket pressed and matured in seasoned French oak, the palate is deeply flavoured yet beautifully restrained. Fine, persistent tannins provide structure and savoury tension, carrying the wine through to a long, composed finish. A compelling, cellar worthy Shiraz, particularly suited to roast lamb, game or slow cooked beef.
