Fatorria Del Pino Toscana Sangiovese Vin Vale Igt 2018

Fattoria Del Pino is one of the smallest Montalcino wineries, owned by Jessica Pelegrini. It all started in 2000, after her father Nerio purchased a small plot of 7 hectares in the great cru of Montosoli, on the hills of Montalcino. The vines are all farmed organically and bottled completely by hand on the property. Her approach is minimalist, using only natural yeast, with alcoholic and malolactic fermentations being subject to seasonal temperatures. She has chosen large Slovenian oak as her vessel of choice for her Sangiovese, all seasoned oak.
