Felton Road Dry Riesling 2023

Felton Road’s 2023 Dry Riesling is a precise, mineral driven expression from Bannockburn in Central Otago, with the region’s cool climate giving the wine plenty of natural acidity. The nose is lifted and aromatic, combining lime, green apple, pear drop and sweet pea with subtle lemon barley and lavender. On the palate, a fleshy mid palate provides balance to the wine’s firm acid line, while fine phenolics add a gently powdery texture. At 12.5% ABV with 3.4g/L residual sugar and a pH of 2.88, it is technically dry but far from austere. A brilliant match for fresh seafood, ceviche or goat’s cheese.
