Fletcher Minion Nebbiolo 2024

Fletcher Mignon Nebbiolo 2024 is a focused, site-driven expression made entirely from Yarra Valley fruit, marking a shift away from earlier multi-region blends. It reflects David Fletcher’s aim to translate his Piedmont experience into a cooler-climate Australian setting.

The nose is lifted and precise, with red cherry, cranberry and rose petal layered over dried herbs, subtle spice and a faint earthy, savoury edge. The palate is medium-bodied and structured, showing firm yet refined tannins, bright natural acidity and a core of pure red fruit shaped by careful extraction.

Vinified with open fermentation, full destemming and maturation in older barrique for around 14 months, it follows the same winemaking approach Fletcher uses for his Langhe Nebbiolo and Barbaresco. The result is an elegant, tightly framed Nebbiolo with clarity, tension and a long, savoury finish.
