Crafted only in outstanding vintages, ‘Cuvée Paul’ is Cotat’s rarest and most powerful expression sourced from the ripest parcels of La Grande Côte and named in honor of François’ father. Just two barrels are selected for this special cuvée, built to age for decades. The 2017 is rich and layered, showing lemon oil, passionfruit, and citrus peel, with subtle hints of cardamom, ginger, and anise. A touch of residual sugar adds texture and warmth, perfectly balanced by Cotat’s trademark saline acidity. This is no ordinary Sauvignon Blanc it’s a benchmark Loire white with the depth and longevity to rival top Alsace or Burgundy.
