Freycinet Chardonnay 2024

Produced from estate-grown 10V5 Chardonnay vines originally planted in 1979, this premium Tasmanian Chardonnay is handpicked at optimal ripeness, whole-bunch pressed, and fermented in French oak barriques. During maturation in barrel, regular bâttonage is carried out to enhance the texture of the wine and balance the crystalline Tasmanian acidity. The result is a triumphant wine of place, elegant and intense. Bright citrus, melon, and stone fruit flavours are complemented by subtle oak and a creamy texture.
