Freycinet Chardonnay is a refined expression of Tasmanian Chardonnay, combining intensity with remarkable precision and texture. Sourced from the estate’s original 1979 plantings, the handpicked fruit shows melon, citrus blossom, grapefruit, nectarine and fig, with finely integrated French oak adding gentle complexity. Barrel fermentation, regular bâtonnage and full malolactic fermentation create a creamy, seamless palate while crystalline Tasmanian acidity keeps the wine focused and fresh. Powerful yet elegant, it has the structure to develop beautifully over 5 to 15 years. A sophisticated match for Tasmanian crayfish, roast chicken or pork.
