Future Perfect Shiraz 2025

The final Shiraz release from Brownwood Vineyard in Tasmania's Coal River Valley, following the vineyard's conversion to Pinot Gris. A particularly special farewell to this cool climate site.

Fragrant raspberry, blackberry and mulberry lead the way, with subtle notes of bramble, black olive and gentle spice. The palate is medium bodied and beautifully balanced, with juicy dark fruit, fine tannins and a delicate savoury, saline edge.

Wild fermented and matured for 10 months in predominantly older oak, this is a more restrained, aromatic expression of Shiraz, favouring freshness and finesse over power. A lovely match for roast lamb, duck or grilled mushrooms.
