Giacomo Fenocchio Castellero 2022

Claudio Fenocchio Barolo Castellero 2022 is a generous and structured expression of Nebbiolo from the Castellero cru, positioned between Bussia and Cannubi.

The wine opens with red cherry, rose, rhubarb and forest berries, layered with blood orange, liquorice, mint and gentle baking spice. The palate is broad and tactile, with firm, chewy tannins balanced by vibrant fruit and a fresh savoury edge. Long maceration and 30 months in large Slavonian oak build depth without masking the site.

A powerful yet finely detailed Barolo with excellent ageing potential. Serve with braised beef, truffle dishes or aged hard cheeses.
