The 2019 Grey Smith Blanc de Blancs is a distinguished sparkling Chardonnay from Mount Gambier, sourced from mature vines grown near Yahl in South Australia’s Limestone Coast. Crafted using the traditional method and matured for a minimum of five years on lees, it reveals delicate aromas of white nectarine, almond blossom and fresh brioche, complemented by subtle toasted notes and mineral complexity. The palate is finely structured, with persistent, delicate bubbles, vibrant acidity and a creamy texture developed through extended bottle ageing. Bottled with zero dosage, it finishes exceptionally dry, precise and refreshing. A sophisticated Australian sparkling wine, particularly suited to fresh oysters, scallops or delicate seafood.
