Henri Boillot’s Volnay 1er Cru Les Chevrets combines the perfume and finesse of Volnay with a noticeably firm mineral structure.

Made from 100% Pinot Noir, it opens with dark cherry, red berries, violet, earth and a subtle smoky note. The palate is concentrated yet composed, with bright fruit, fine tannins and a limestone driven freshness carrying through the long finish.

Les Chevrets sits close to the Meursault border, opposite Clos des Santenots, and produces a more structured expression of Volnay. A strong match for roast chicken, duck, game or aged hard cheeses.
