Henskens Rankin Brut Rose 2018

A beautifully refined Tasmanian sparkling rosé, blending 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay from vineyards across the Coal River Valley and northwest Tasmania. Produced in tiny quantities, with just 850 bottles released.

Delicate raspberry, red apple and citrus sit alongside notes of fresh pastry, clover blossom and subtle savoury complexity. The palate is finely textured and precise, with a gentle creaminess, bright acidity and a distinctly stony, dry finish.

Aged for almost six years on lees with a minimal dosage of 2 g/L, this is a serious, complex sparkling wine with remarkable freshness. Excellent alongside oysters, scallops or delicate seafood dishes.
