Black and Blue 2021 is a distinctive late harvest fortified Zinfandel from McLaren Vale, combining richness and intensity with impressive freshness.

Picked at the very end of the season, the wine is dark, concentrated and layered, with ripe black fruit, savoury spice and an earthy edge beneath its sweeter fruit profile. Two years of maturation in century old reconditioned fortified barrels adds depth, texture and mature complexity.

Despite its power, a line of natural acidity keeps the palate balanced and the finish long. A contemplative fortified wine made for slow sipping, especially alongside dark chocolate, mature cheese or after dinner.
